Despite a fuel shortage, Mission Aviation Fellowship brought us from Honinabi to Kiunga as scheduled. Then Nauli and Judy, a Christian couple in town drove us up to Rumginae. They were very encouraged by our plans for the Pastors‘ Workshops, and I was fascinated by his perspective on the colonial period of world history and his view as a highly educated Papua New Guinean of the changing but ongoing need that the Evangelical Church of Papua New Guinea has for missionaries.
We had a very productive time in the village, and I am looking forward to accomplishing the goals we have set for the five weeks we have this time in Rumginae.
Please pray for strength and focus!
