The Konai New Testament dedication over Easter exceeded all our expectations! The highlight of the dedication itself was the public reading of selections from the Konai New Testament by school children. We were astounded by the fluency and naturalness of all of the readers. The SIL couple, Sören & Britten Årsjö (Swedish), have worked there for 21 years. They made working with children a high priority and it shows. This was their second full New Testament translation project; the first one in a completely unrelated language on the Sepik River. For their retirement they have already started a ministry in Sweden to people living in RVs! Having lived very simply all of their lives, they have now further reduced their possessions to fit in a small RV. A very inspiring couple!
